Working hours : are between 8:00 a. m up to 3:30 p.m.  from Sunday up to Wednesday , while on Thursday  from 8:00 a. m up to 2:30 p.m.
The official weekly holiday is weekly on Friday & Saturday .

They open from 9:00 a. m up to 8:00 p. m in Winter season , while in summer season up to 9:00 p. m . with exception of the service stores such as restaurants , groceries , etc .. which are open 24 hours a day .

State & private hospitals are available at all the Syrian cities providing their services 24 hours a day . All the needed  surgical operation are done in these hospitals and at the medical centers due to the great reputation enjoyed by Syria in the field of medicine and medical services ; ambulances are always available at the international highways  , and in the cities for 24 hours a day .

Syria through her state and private factories produces most of her medicines and pharmacological needs  with symbol prices .

The state through her official company may import all the non-available medicines to be at the hands of all the needed patients  .

A wide net of air-conditioned buses & Pullmans of 24 hours a day are available at united terminals in all the cities , in addition to availability of public taxis ,  limousines belonging to renting-cars companies providing their services too ; while inside the cities there are line services provided by micro-bus and mini-bus along with lines to be served by national transportation co.

They are secured by modern air-conditioned buses " Pullman" ,  by taxis and by the Syrian airlines connecting between Damascus ,Aleppo , Kameshli , Die Al-Zoor and Latakia  airports  .

While transportation inside cities are through using taxis with defined official tariff  , or though speedometer available in Damascus and Aleppo .

A fixed telephone communication  net is available among the Syrian cities , where Syria is connected with the whole world ; her services in very high technique and quality ; there are two nets of mobile lines : Syria-tel. & Spi-tel.  providing their services fully , in addition to availability of pre-payment cards .

While communication through internet and fax is available through out Syria .

Syria is famous of her Mediterranean moderate climate where four seasons may be easily distinguished , with clear and shinning  sky in  most of the months of year .
